Extended Producer Responsibility

Extended Producer Responsibility, also known as EPR, is a legal obligation which retailers must comply with for some of the countries they are trading in. In line with our Terms and Conditions, all Retailers must ensure that they liaise directly with the responsible producer organisation in each country they chose to sell in to obtain the relevant unique EPR number, registration license  or identification number for each category of products they are selling.

It is a Retailer's responsibility to ensure that it is fully compliant with these country specific obligations. We are in the process of updating the retailer portal to reflect changes to the EPR rules in the countries that the Fruugo Platform operates in. Where applicable, you should submit your unique EPR number in the Retailer Portal which will be verified by Fruugo. Fruugo reserve the right to suspend your account if you do not comply with all relevant EPR Regulations.
