Withholding Retailer Payments

Withholding Retailer Payments

Fruugo will pay Retailers weekly in accordance with Section 6 of the Retailer Terms and Conditions.

There are certain conditions which exist when retailer payments will be suspended including:

  • Fruugo receives a court order requiring us to withhold payments, then payments will be suspended until the court order is removed.

  • If there is a reason to suspect that an account has been used in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, then payments will be suspended whilst this pattern is investigated.

  • Upon receipt of a request to change a Retailer’s bank account, payments will be suspended until Fruugo is able to complete all necessary authentication procedures in respect of the new account.

Permanent Removal from the Platform

In the event of the termination of this Agreement, payments will be suspended for a  period of 6 months to allow time for customer dispute chargebacks, customer claims for defective goods, or customer claims under warranty, to be processed.

Upon Termination of this Agreement, Fruugo will issue final payment application instructions detailing the process for Retailers who have been removed to claim settlement of the final balance, and a claim for final settlement will be initiated at the end of this 6 month period.
