What is Holiday Mode

 

Holiday Mode is a new self-service module within the Retailer Portal for merchants to manage their Holidays (off time for products on our website) with ease.

An activated Holiday Mode ensures that your products are unavailable for sale in that market during this time.

By activating Holiday Mode, you are notifying Fruugo that you want to stop receiving orders and will not be available for any kind of fulfilment for the specified date range

 

Fruugo can also manage the operations of your account through holiday mode.


Benefit of Holiday Mode -

Allow Merchants to temporarily hide the products and inform customers of planned delays

How -

-Giving flexibility to our merchants to make them unavailable to process orders for a defined period of time

-Make our customers aware of unavailability of any product and services for a defined period of time

-To reduce dependency on Fruugo

-Fruugo can also manage holidays on your behalf

 


 

Allow up to 2 working days for your holidays to be activated. Please arrange your operations in advance.

 


Access Holiday Mode

 

 

To use this service, first begin by logging in to Retailer Portal using the details provided by your Integration Specialist. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Navigate to Holiday Mode main menu on left bottom of the screen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When you land on the Holiday Mode page for the first time, you will see that no holidays have been activated.

 

To add a new holiday, click on the Book Holiday button on the right-hand side.

Read the info details carefully on each screen.

Clicking on the Book Holiday green button will take you to the Book Holiday window/page where you’ll see several fields requiring your attention.

Start Date

 

The first day of your activated holiday

Holiday Mode starts at 12 midnight UK time

End Date

 

You can choose English or Mandarin from the drop-down to read the Help info

Holiday Mode ends at 12 midnight UK time

Description

 

You have to provide some details, and rationals for activating this holiday.

 

Help

 

  • Holiday mode can be enabled for a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 21 days.

  • For holidays less than 3 days, please add a lead-time at the SKU level in your feed. Your integration partner can assist with this.

  • Please contact your Account Manager if you need to stop orders for more than 21 days.

  • Holidays cannot be booked within 14 days of another holidays end date.

 

All these validation rules are set in the system.

Submit Holiday Mode

 

Once you’ve completed your holiday booking, you can click Submit to save this holiday to your account. 

 

Fruugo team will receive a message on activated and also on every action taken for Holiday Mode.


Save Holiday Mode

Once you submitted the holiday and If the method has been saved successfully, you will land on the main page where you can see the list of all booked holidays.

 

Please allow up to 2 working days for your holidays to be activated.

You have to arrange your operations in advance.

 

You can see Holiday Updated message appearing on right bottom of the screen.

 

 

 

 

 

if you have an activated holiday in your account a live info message will be there every time and visible on every page .

You can click on this and edit your holiday entry

same validation criteria will be applicable given in HELP for editing existing holiday


Delete Holiday Mode

 

 

You can click on delete icon and delete your selected holiday

You can see a warning message before the selected holiday gets deleted

This has been provided for a confirmation of your action

 

You can only delete Holidays booked by yourself those have not started

( Start date of a Holiday Mode should not be same as present day )


Error on Holiday Mode

 

You can see Error message during saving and booking holidays.

 

 

Error message will provide you the reasons and this would generally happen if the holiday dates are not as per criteria provided in HELP

On refreshing the page you can try and booking the Holidays following the HELP section criterias
