Shipping Manager

What is it?

The new Shipping Manager feature in our Retailer Portal allows you to manage your Shipping Methods.

Shipping methods are used to calculate the right shipping for a customer based on factors such as destination and pricing model chosen.

Who can access it?

We’re rolling out the Shipping Manager to merchants in phases throughout Q4 2021 - Q1 2022, you’ll be contacted with more information when it’s available to you and will see a new Shipping Manager menu item when you login to Retailer Portal once you have access.

What can I do with it?

During onboarding, you’ll setup your initial methods that will be used when customers buy your goods from different geographies.

Once you’re live on Fruugo, you can visit the Shipping Manager anytime to add new methods and edit or disable existing ones.

What are the benefits?

  • No more spreadsheet!

  • Easy to add/edit/disable methods on demand.

  • Be more specific with your customers such as letting them know which courier and service.

  • Should lead to less customer enquiries to you.

What about my existing methods?

Any methods you create in the new Shipping Manager will be chosen first by our customer facing systems to set shipping options and prices. Where a new method doesn’t exist, old methods will be used to set shipping options and prices.

We intend to fully remove support for old methods in the near future, so we recommend creating your new methods as soon as possible, especially as it’ll result in the benefits mentioned above!
