What is it?

We’ve launched an all new shipping tracking solution for customers that means for tracked deliveries, they’ll receive detailed status information direct to their inbox as the goods move through the delivery process.

We hope this will reduce ‘where’s my order?’ and other shipping related enquiries and save you time!

What does this mean for me as a Retailer?

You just need to keep adding a tracking ID to orders, provide us with the couriers you use in your shipping template and we’ll take care of the rest!

It’s important that this tracking ID is valid and accurate and that you continue to supply us with up to date information for which couriers you use when shipping to different countries through our shipping template.

Why should I send goods tracked?

We find that customers like to know where their order is and an estimate of when it will arrive.

Without this information they tend to raise an enquiry, which costs you time, leads to lower customer satisfaction and reduces the likelihood of repeat business.

Our solution makes it easy to keep the customer informed every step of the way!

How do I supply a tracking ID?

  • If you’re integrated to Fruugo through a partner, you can send it through our Order API when you ship an order. The id should be sent in the trackingCode element of the /ship API call which should be supported by most integration partners.
  • If instead you use our Retailer Portal, you can add it to the tracking ID field when updating an order to shipped.

How do I provide my couriers?

The courier being used for your shipments needs to be specified in the 'Courier' field of the shipping template. If you potentially use more than one courier for a method you should add these additional couriers in the 'Additional Courier' fields. You only need to select the name of your courier from the drop-down list of couriers currently supported. If your courier is not listed please advise the Fruugo Integration Team.

If you do not provide us with the courier information your account will not be eligible to use our tracking solution to keep customers up to date on their order progress.
