Shipping Mapping

Linnworks connects and automates all the different parts of your selling processes. Which means you can spend less time on order processing, labels, picking, packing and spreadsheets, and more time leading your business.

Shipping Mapping

When a buyer places an order they will more than likely choose how they want their item to be shipped from a list of available shipping methods that you offer. You can configure Linnworks to map the selected channel shipping method to a postal service that you've added to Linnworks.

This ensures that all your orders have the correct postal service methods assigned so that automation rules can be run, and labels can be printed.
Mapping Shipping Methods

You can map shipping methods in two ways. If the channel allows Linnworks to view its shipping methods as part of its integration, then you can choose a shipping method from a list. This is called adding a shipping method and is the preferred option.

If the channel does not allow Linnworks to obtain a list of its shipping methods, you will have to create a new channel shipping method, before you can map it.

To find the Shipping Mapping screen go to Settings > Channel Integration, and click the Shipping Mapping button

On this screen either Add or Create a new shipping mapping rule.

If you're adding a new shipping mapping rule, simply select the channel postal service you want to map, followed by the Linnworks postal service you want to map it to.

If Linnworks can't retrieve a list of available postal services from the channel, then you'll have to manually type the correct postal service name and tag into the appropriate text fields. If you're having trouble finding the correct channel postal service name or tag, you can check the XML of an order that's downloaded from that channel.
